I am Alex, Freelance Developer.

I have been a developer for a quarter of a century now, and a freelancer for over 15 years. During that time I have been on a wide variety of projects. And I have made a lot of mistakes. Now I love helping people solve problems and avoid my mistakes, and instead make newer, better mistakes together. Because this is how we learn, after all.

My favourite tools for problem solving include:

• pen and paper, or a big dry erase board
• Ruby, especially dry-rb, Roda, Sequel, and Hanami
• PostgreSQL
• HTML, CSS, and only as much JavaScript as necessary
